Required running
Reefer, PTO, a cold start you already accept.
Idle
I will not start with idle if the card and the trucks do not match. Once they do, idle is sitting in the same GPS you already granted.
An idle report on top of a lying fuel file gives you two dashboards and no decision. The match comes first. Idle uses the same read.
On the Southeast fleet, idle hours dropped 11 percent across the four months of that engagement. That is their result. It is evidence the layer can carry more than theft, not a quote for you.
Which trucks, which hours, which locations. A shipper yard and a driver lounge are different conversations. I will not blend them into one idle score and call it insight.
Nothing writes back. Operations decides whether the idle is the job or the waste.
What I look for
Reefer, PTO, a cold start you already accept.
If the device calls driving idle, I will not build a sermon on it.
I will not lead with idle while theft and typos are still one pile.
Short answers
The first two weeks are the fuel match. Idle can follow on the same access if you want it.
No. I show the hours. You set the rule.
Next step
If idle is the only pain, say so on the call. I will tell you if the match still has to come first.
