The practice
AxleLens is Zack Shields, on your existing systems.
I am a business process operator. I build real fixes on top of tools a company already has. AxleLens is the fleet practice: find lost fuel, and the operating reports around it.
What I actually do
Fleets do not need another login. They need someone who will sit in the gap between the fuel card, the GPS, and the TMS, and say which gallons never reached a tank.
That is the work. I connect read-only. I line up swipe, location, unit, and time. I hand managers a daily list and send the Monday numbers to the person who owns the P&L. If a fill cannot be proved, I leave it unproved.
I have done this kind of analysis for logistics companies, including a fleet operator in the Southeast with more than 200 trucks. Fuel was the first hole. Dispatch, operations, and fuel payments ended up on the same layer, because the data was already there.
How an engagement runs
A 15-minute call to see if the audit is even worth it. Then access, on your keys. Two weeks to the first report. A small monthly fee after that, and we stop if the work does not pay for itself.
AxleLens is a practice of Zack Shields Consulting, based in Orlando, Florida. The fleets are not limited to Florida.
