Reconciliation

Reconciliation is a match, not a color scale.

Most fuel reconciliations add the card and hope the total feels right. I want each swipe to meet a truck and, when the sensor is honest, a tank.

Totals lie when the rows are mixed

A weekly gallon total can look fine while theft and typos cancel each other. Reconciliation at the swipe is the only version I trust.

Card gallons and burned gallons are not the same number. The sample report says so on purpose. Engine gallons and purchased gallons answer different questions.

What you get in two weeks

A Monday-style report, a daily list, and a walkthrough. Two weeks from the day I get access. You keep the findings if you stop.

I will not promise your fleet matches the Southeast figures. That operator had 200 or more trucks. Your rows are your rows.

What I look for

A reconciled fill has a label

01

Verified

The truck was there and the tank can support the gallons.

02

Review

The evidence says look, and a person is named.

03

Unverifiable

The records cannot decide. It is not marked clean to make the total pretty.

Short answers

Before you book.

Next step

Let's reconcile a real week.

Not a sample. Your card export or a read-only login, and the GPS you already run.

15 minutes. Your trucks, your systems, and whether an audit is worth it. I reply within one business day. Privacy.
