Daily list

A list a manager can finish before noon.

The daily exception list is the working tool. The Monday report is the rollup. If the daily list is long, it is broken.

Exceptions, not a data dump

A manager does not need 286 swipes in the morning. They need the ones that are not explained. The sample week had 286 swipes. The point of the sample is that most of them should never reach a person.

Each open line has a reason: distance, tank, unit mixup, or hour. The reason decides who clears it.

If the list grows, the rule is wrong

I would rather tighten a rule with you than train people to ignore a list. Ignoring the list is how theft becomes normal.

The list does not write back to the TMS or the card. Clearing it is a human act: a receipt, a conversation, or a decision to stop.

What I look for

What belongs on tomorrow's list

01

Unmatched swipes

No truck close enough, and the tank did not save it.

02

Repeated mixups

The habit, once, not every gallon restated.

03

Benched sensors

A unit the shop still has not fixed, so nobody treats it as proof.

Short answers

Before you book.

Next step

Let's see what your morning list should be.

If nobody clears fuel exceptions today, that is the conversation to have.
